At the vineyard…

At the beginning of September, with a deterioration in the weather accompanied by a drop in temperatures, the ripening dynamic slowed down.

On 14 September, the harvest began in the Savigny plot.

During this period without rain, temperatures were cool in the mornings and pleasant in the afternoons.
The grapes were not in normal quantity this year, and some plots took a long time to harvest because the bunches had to be sought out and sorted.

Other plots were more generous in terms of bunch size.

But the quantity and weight of the bunches was not a factor in this vintage.

A few days later, the harvest ended with a very small crop.

Working with small volumes of wine isn’t easy either.
