September 2019 And…… to the harvest

All the work done on the vines throughout this 2019 campaign will soon be completed with the upcoming harvest…
In some sectors, the climatic conditions of this vintage had a more or less significant impact on the Burgundy vineyards.
The heat wave periods, the lack of water combined with a different grape load from one vine to another explain why the vineyard this year is heterogeneous.
But overall, the health of the grapes is good.
It should be noted that the rise in temperatures in August, beyond the seasonal values, allowed a good evolution of maturity.
In this month of August, even if showers cross our region, the cumulations are relatively low. And, given the lack of rainfall since the beginning of the year, any rain is welcome and beneficial to the vineyard.
The drums begin to be seen and sorted for cleaning or repair or destruction.
